AI Assistant Playbook

Better questions.
Careful decisions.

Use the explanatory AI assistant to understand trading concepts. Review and verify its responses before relying on them.

This guide covers the current explanatory assistant. The forthcoming Ark Stone Trading Desk is a separate subscription product.
The assistant is explanatory. It does not access your account or execute trades. Trading involves risk.
Guide focus

A question is the starting point

Ask for an explanation. Review it. Verify independently.

Rows of computing servers
01

Ask a focused question.

Give the topic and the kind of explanation you need. Keep personal, account and payment information out of the prompt.

Example question • not a platform response
“Explain the difference between an open position and a pending order in plain language.”
02

Review what the answer assumes.

Read with context
  1. 01
    Scope

Does the answer address your actual question?

  2. 02
    Assumptions

Does it rely on a product, account setting or date?

  3. 03
    Uncertainty

    What still needs checking?

A confident tone is not evidence of accuracy. Ask for clarification when the explanation is unclear.

03

Verify before acting.

Check account-specific information against the current portal, applicable conditions and official support. Do not assume an answer uses live prices, knows your balance or can carry out an action.

AI can make mistakes. An explanation is not a guarantee, a personalised trading recommendation or confirmation that an instruction was executed.
04

Know when to use support.

For account-specific questions, use the Help Center inside your signed-in client portal. If you cannot sign in, contact support@arkstonetradingpartners.com. Never share passwords, private keys or recovery phrases.

A reusable prompt structure

State your goal, provide non-sensitive context, set constraints and request a format. Try: “Help me understand [topic]. Here is [context]. Do not assume [unknowns]. Return [format] and flag what I need to verify.”

Build a research checklist

“I am learning about gold CFDs. Create a checklist of instrument terms, market context and risks to review. Do not recommend a trade or assume current prices.”

Follow up: “What information is missing? Ask clarifying questions instead of assuming fees or account settings.”

Test your understanding

“Explain balance, equity, used margin and free margin with a hypothetical example. Label assumptions and separate general definitions from platform-specific rules. Then ask me three questions to check my understanding.”

Check the arithmetic independently and compare the explanation with current platform documentation.

Challenge a line of reasoning

“Here is my non-sensitive reasoning: [summary]. Identify unsupported assumptions, missing evidence and counterarguments. Separate facts from interpretations. What evidence would weaken this explanation? Do not suggest a buy, sell or hold action.”

Check whether the answer challenges the premise or simply echoes it. Rephrase a leading question neutrally.

Work from a public source

“Using only the announcement pasted below, summarise what changed and what remains uncertain. Separate statements from the text, inferences and unanswered questions. Identify the passage supporting each factual claim.”

Open the original source and verify its issuer, date and revisions. Check cited links yourself. Do not assume live market access. Include the event date and timezone when timing matters.

Explore possibilities without inventing certainty

“Using only the facts I provide, outline three plausible scenarios. List assumptions, information to monitor and reasons each might not occur. Do not invent probabilities or price targets. Turn the result into an observation checklist.”

These are suggested educational prompts, not verified feature demonstrations. Before relying on an answer, check relevance, sources, dates, arithmetic, instrument terms and unresolved uncertainties. Keep credentials, identity documents and sensitive account data out of prompts.
